Dear Kinderhaus parents,
First days come with so many feelings and we are so happy to report this was a truly successful one!
Most of the children know each other, have had playdates, and were looking forward to this day. They were super excited and will likely be very tired tonight.
Make sure to find a quiet moment to check in with your children about what they took away from today. Maybe look at the pictures together and ask if they remember their new friends’ names.
It’s common for children to express excitement in different ways and process their feelings differently. It can also happen that they are excited and then over it in a day or two, but consistency and friendships usually work their magic and everyone settles in their own time.
